FINDING HAPPINESS IN A DOWN TIME.
I have been meaning to put up a blog post lately but it hasn't been so easy with coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.
So the topic "Finding Happiness in a Down time"came to mind.
When we think of the word happiness it reeks of many pleasantries and joys.
But the more important thing is how do we derive happiness and from what do we get this feeling from. Since i found myself in this period of mourning I have been tasked with trying to build happiness for myself even in my unhappy state.
Truth is it is never easy but it is first a conscious effort, it is a decision to stay sane even when you know the misery that stares you in the face.
It may not be the loss of a loved one, it might be a break up, a rough patch in a relationship, loss of a job or something else.
However whatever it might be choose to be happy, choose to get up laugh, smile and exhale.
Get a talk mate, a friend whose shoulder is available for you to lean on. You should cry if you feel better after doing so. Find you favorite food,music,or pastime and indulge in it.
Life always throws us challenges that can knock us off balance but you will be happier when you choose to get up and adorn a cheerful countenance.
