Flash Fiction Title: Ulokanma

He was named Ulokanma. It seemed as though he could not excel outside his home. He pondered alone in his hut for many nights with answers far-fetched.
One night saw him visit the Chief Priest and great Seer of Idemili. The problem which was his problem was not him, the problem was his name. Ulokanma as a name meant home was the best place he would ever thrive in. The panacea to his predicament was to change his name. A name bestowed upon him at birth by his late grandfather.
So today, the next day after his encounter with the Seer who saw man and the spirits, he renounced his name, not completely, he chose to bear the other half of his name.
He would now be called Kanma, but Ulo would never be a part of it.
