Book Review of 'Loss Brought Me Here' by Sola Biyi

We all have personal belongings we use for a long time which become a part of us. We find it hard to let go even when they are done been of use to us. These precious items have seen us through many phases in life, they are more aware of our triumphs and losses than we are.

'Loss Brought Me Here' is a new book by Sola 'Biyi' Ogunbiyi; a Storyteller, Content Creator and Mental Health Advocate. In this masterfully compiled creative work, she brings her reader to the realisation of their own self through the vulnerability of her storytelling.

The book is filled with lively imagery in the things that we hold dear and in  everyday conversations with loved ones. The chapters come alive with pretty titles that keep you enraptured as you read. In this book, she successfully brings reassuring hope to the reader that it's okay to not have it figured out and it's fine to do it afraid.

In today's world where there's competition in every facet of life, one is forced to become who they are not, to act as though they have it all together even when they are broken like fragments of a Potter's Clay.

'Loss Brought Me Here' is that simply told book which tells you, you are not alone in this journey called Life. It reminds you to draw strength from everything and every experience life serves you, even when it throws you lemons. You must find courage to find hope in loss.
