Negativity is a Blindfold.

Have you noticed that for every time you indulge in a negative thought, your mind subconsciously responds to it with anxiety and hopelessness?

This is what negativity thrives on. Negative thoughts come with the aura of impossibility and frustration. It tells your mind to see only the bad things in every situation. It frightens you into thinking you would never be able to get through a phase.
Negativity brings your attention to more failures than successes and it conceals possibility in the darkest corridors of your mind.

When you dwell on negative thoughts, your mind builds limitations faster than it realises, it sets you on edge to expect the worst and before you discover how far you have gone in your communion with negativity, you are already a pessimist in thought and deed.

However, negativity can be stopped. It can be discouraged when you feed your mind with positive responses to situations. You can refuse negativity when you compel your mind to see more 'Yes' than  'No's' in difficult situations.
You can dispel negativity when you feed your mind with things that are good and true.

 The mind eats what it is fed; therefore you must bring your mind's attention to successes, possibilities and the colourful parts of life. This is because negativity is a blindfold that impairs your vision, but the moment you take it off, you are bound to see clearly.
