How to Make KFC Style Fried Chicken.

Yippee SBF Lovers!

It's Easter Sunday and a lot of households will be making different meals and desserts.

The KFC Style Fried Chicken is a quick appetiser and getting it made at home in this lockdown, is something everyone in the family will relish.
So, here is a quick recipe of how I made cripsy Kentucky Style Fried chicken today.

Ingredients
Half Kilo of Soft Chicken
Vegetable oil
1 Egg
1 small cup Flour
1 small cup Golden Morn / Cornflakes
Grounded pepper
Salt
Seasoning (Maggi)
Thyme
Tumeric
Curry

Procedure
Wash your chicken thoroughly and marinate.
In a clean bowl, pour in the chicken and rub in the following spices: salt, pepper, seasoning, curry, thyme, tumeric. Cover with a cling film and leave to sit for an hour or overnight in the fridge.

Sieve your flour, and mix into a bowl with your grinded cornflakes, but for a finer look use golden morn as was used for this recipe.

Break in your egg in a bowl and whisk well. Pour in the marinated chicken into the whisked egg and stir with hands.

Pour your flour and golden morn mix onto a tray and rub each piece of chicken on the flour mix till it is fully coated with flour.

Heat your Oil on the cooker to medium temperature and fry your chicken in a session of four pieces at a time to avoid it sticking to each other.

Fry till golden brown and drain in a sieve.

Serve with a cold drink or along side any dessert of your choice.

N.B: For a crispy crunchy taste don't overcoat the chicken with too much flour mix. Make sure the goldenmorn is more than the flour.

I hope you enjoy recreating this recipe at home.

Love ya!
